Barclays Uni-Count

Insight

Students want convenience and love a good discount. Students look around for the cheapest alternative when shopping or going out to eat. They also need structure when banking.

The Project

Uni-Count is a sister brand that provides students with: a student debit card, a mobile banking app designed for them, using the 20/30/50 strategy to help them structure their finances and a lifestyle comparison feature that allows the user to search shops and restaurants nearby and compare prices and discounts to make sure they are getting the best deal.

This project was completed during my third year at university. Barclays briefed us and we had the pleasure of visiting their Canary Wharf office to pitch our idea, being shortlisted in the final list of best ideas.
